We are flying to Hongkong tomorrow morning through an exit route which I will be taking for the first time, Clark Air Base.
I and a staffmember, who will handle the power point presentation which we will be making before an expected huge group of overseas workers from North Cotabato, will fly in an airline which I will also be taking for the first time, Tiger Airways.
The major factor which led me to decide to fly through Clark Air Base and via Tiger Airways is actually the price.
The round-trip ticket from Clark Air Base to Hongkong and back is only a little over P10,000.
Compare that to the over P20,000 if you fly through Manila and back.
I know many people are taking the Clark Air Base route now in going out of the country, one of them my good friend, Bruce Mactavish, the New Zealand/Filipino boxing referee who is married to the beautiful Carmen Tayag of Angeles City.
It is not going to be a surprise that in the days to come, Clark Air Base will become an attractive alternate exit airport for international travelers because of the low-cost air tickets that airlines like Tiger Airways are offering.
I will give followers of this site a review and critique of the amenities of Clark Air Base after our trip tomorrow.
