Yesterday, I and my team visited the upland village of Teren-teren in Dado, Alamada, North Cotabato where we will start the planting of Sorghum, a new grains crop.
It was my second visit to the Iranun enclave where rich and vast land could produce crops such as corn, bananas, peanuts and now Sorghum.
The only challenge that we and the farmers face is the difficulty in transporting products to the market.
While the road to the village is better now, there is a small river which would be swollen during heavy rains.
Maiksing tulay lang ang kailangan so the products could be brought to the market at less cost.
I am posting this short video clip and photos so that people will understand why I rant against the construction of those useless center-islands in the national highway costing billions.
Marami pang mga kalsada at tulay ang kailangan sa kabundokan sa madala ng mga magsasaka ang kanilang produkto sa merkado.
Puede bang ito muna ang unahin ninyo?
