Governance Is Simple: Pure Common Sense!

With these two photos, I would like to ask the followers of this page which project do they believe would contribute greatly in boosting the economy of the country and stamping rural poverty.
1. The Highway Center Islands complete with flowers (grass and weeds most of the time) and solar lights costing billions purportedly to ensure that there will be less head-on collisions in the national highway;
2. The Short Bridge across a small river which could facilitate the transport of agricultural products to the market and the many farm to market roads in the rural areas costing a few million pesos.
The answers that you will submit will show whether we still have hope for a practical but effective governance in this country or we simply love the comfort and aesthetics of projects like the multi-billion peso government buildings.
