Papa’s Pride & Joy!

In 2018, I asked my eldest daughter, Maria Krista, a medical doctor, to vie for one of the 3 seats for Provincial Board Member in the 2nd District of North Cotabato.
She followed my advice and came out No. 1 in the District in the 2019 elections.
When she prepared to assume her post, I gave her my final advice.
“Never get involved in corruption because it is like drugs. When you get taste of it, you will get hooked,” I told her.
I reminded her that it will be her children who will carry the stigma of corruption.
Today, she is vying for her last 3 year term to complete the 9-year limit.
I proudly proclaim that my daughter has remained clean and had never been involved in any questionable transactions.
While the incumbent Governor reduced the number of Contract Workers in her office, she continued cooperating with the Provincial leadership.
As a father, I am deeply proud of this young girl with a photographic memory and deep commitment to public service.
She is a father’s pride and joy!
